The Northshore Community Foundation, a registered 501C3 non-profit, is proud to administer the Art For Schools fund.

This Art For Schools fund was created in 2019 during the ‘Oh Joy of Joys’ statue project.  The goal is to provide donations to the art programs of under served schools on the northshore  on an bi- annual basis. Many of the artists participating in our 2019 Art & Wine Fusion event, donated money to start this fund.

In spring of 2021, we distributed those funds to four local schools: Wishram, Lyle, Klickitat and Centerville and presented the students and staff with large prop checks created by Insitu, a Boeing subsidiary, to make it a fun and memorable moment.

Everyone was SO GRATEFUL for the donation, which in several cases, was larger than their annual budget for Art for the entire student body. Every dollar really does make a difference.

Our next fundraiser for the Art For Schools fund will begin at the end of 2023 and culminate in early Dec 2024 with the raffling of a lovely framed artwork titled ‘Snow in Rheingarten’ (The City Park in White Salmon) Follow this link to our online raffle ticket system.

The Art For Schools Committee consists of Northshore Community Foundation Board Members. If you are a northshore resident and would like to participate on this committee, please contact our Executive Director. We welcome you!
